Seawatching again to the fore

Another day when the prevailing conditions were only really suitable for seawatching and this allowed for an extended period of observations (0700-1300). Sightings were again led by Storm Petrels with five birds seen amongst good numbers of the commoner seabirds. Other totals included 1000 Manx Shearwater, 640 Sandwich Tern, 390 Gannet, 60 Kittiwake, 21 Fulmar, 17 Common Scoter, 9 Guillemot, 4 Razorbill and single Red-throated Diver, Arctic Tern, Common Tern and dark phase Arctic Skua.
