Waders still to depart for northern climes

Offshore
Two brief periods of observation (0730-0800 & 1230-1300) produced totals of 45 Sandwich Tern, 15 Gannet, 15 Common Scoter, 10 Manx Shearwater, 6 Arctic Skua, 4 Guillemot and 2 Common Tern.
Wildfowl and Waders
The first returning Teal was logged and waders presumably still heading north included 2000 Knot, 60 Turnstone, 20 Dunlin, 6 Whimbrel and 5 Sanderling.
Breeding Birds
A total of 5 territorial Reed Warbler are present on the island consolidating the species' status as a recent colonist.
