Offshore
Very quiet over the sea with just 6 Common Scoter logged.
Diurnal Migration
Slightly more movement than of late with 26 Meadow Pipit, 14 Whooper Swan, 12 Siskin, 12 Chaffinch, 10 Greenfinch, 3 White-fronted Geese, 2 Tree Sparrow and 2 alba Wagtail recorded between the showers.
Grounded Migrants
A scattering of birds included 4 Redwing, 3 Fieldfare - the first of the autumn, 3 Goldcrest and single Swallow, Chiffchaff and Grey Wagtail.
Miscellaneous
The Shag still remained along the eastern shore and at least 4 Short-eared Owls and a Barn Owl hunted over the island.
