Wildfowl and Waders
The island WeBS count produced totals of 6400 Oystercatcher, 2195 Redshank, 695 Curlew, 560 Golden Plover, 470 Lapwing, 195 Turnstone, 190 Teal, 170 Grey Plover, 130 Sanderling, 28 Red-breasted Merganser, 21 Br-tailed Godwit, 17 Greenshank, 9 Shoveler and 6 Shag amongst a varied selection of wildfowl and waders.
Mammals
A Stoat stalked the flocks of roosting Redshank to no avail.
