Offshore
The highlight of morning observations proved to be the presence of 3 Shag with only low numbers of Gannet, Common Scoter, Razorbill and Guillemot on the move.
Grounded Migrants
Newly grounded birds were limited to 3 Chiffchaff and a Wheatear.
Diurnal Migration
Another meagre showing with just 180 Starling, 100 Meadow Pipit, 30 Skylark, 8 Greenfinch, 5 Swallow, 5 alba Wagtail, 3 Chaffinch, 2 Grey Wagtail and a Siskin logged through the course of the morning.
Wildfowl and Waders
A single pale-bellied Brent Goose was seen and waders included 23 Greenshank and a Black-tailed Godwit amongst 900 Redshank.
Miscellaneous
Raptors were again prominent with Peregrine, Merlin, Kestrel and Sparrowhawk all seen.
