Offshore
Sightings on the rising tide included 53 Common Scoter, 6 Red-throated Diver, 6 Gannet, 6 Sandwich Tern and a Razorbill.
Grounded Migrants
Again few birds were in evidence with just 6 Goldcrest, 4 Chiffchaff and a Willow Warbler logged.
Diurnal Migration
Four Grey Wagtail were amongst small numbers of Meadow Pipit and Swallow.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 250 Sanderling and 24 Greenshank.
Mammals
A Harbour Porpoise escorted HMS Ambush, the Royal Navy’s latest hunter killer submarine as it disappeared into the vastness of the Irish Sea.
