Offshore
The sea provided little movement other than 11 Gannet, 6 Common Scoter, 3 Shag and 2 Red-throated Diver.
Grounded Migrants
Slightly more activity than of late with 25 Robin, 17 Goldcrest, 4 Stonechat, 2 Wheatear and a Whinchat logged.
Diurnal Migration
Light winds and clear skies produced a heavy diurnal movement through the morning with observations (0700-1100) producing 5550 Meadow Pipit, 1130 Swallow, 630 Pink-footed Goose, 65 Linnet, 60 alba Wagtail, 55 Skylark, 33 Starling, 20 House Martin, 20 Sand Martin, 17 Siskin, 15 Chaffinch, 12 Grey Wagtail, 9 Carrion Crow, 8 Jackdaw, 4 Reed Bunting and a Lesser Redpoll.
Miscellaneous
The Hooded Crow put in another appearance and additional sightings included Merlin, Little Owl and Little Egret.
