Great Northern Diver reappears

Early morning observations on the rising tide (0800-0900) were led by a Great Northern Diver. Also seen were 150 Razorbill, 85 Common Scoter, 5 Guillemot, 4 Kittiwake, 2 Gannet, 2 Red-throated Diver and 2 Great Crested Grebe.
Grounded Migrants
A Chiffchaff was the only grounded bird logged.
Wildfowl and Waders
The Brent Goose flock held 114 pale-bellied birds and additional wildfowl included 21 Pintail and 2 Goldeneye – the latter the first of the autumn. Waders included 8 Greenshank.
Miscellaneous
Two Merlin were the best of the rest.
