Grounded Migrants
Clear skies at dawn and consequently grounded birds were limited to a single Goldcrest.
Diurnal Migration
Visible migration continues to be the most productive element with 600 Meadow Pipit, 160 Skylark, 68 Pied Wagtail, 50 Chaffinch, 45 Tree Sparrow, 10 Greenfinch, 3 Siskin, 2 Lesser Redpoll, 2 Grey Wagtail and a Mistle Thrush logged.
Wildfowl and Waders
The drake Scaup is still in residence and waders included 14 Greenshank and 2 Black-tailed Godwit.
Miscellaneous
A Merlin and 3 Raven were the best of the rest.
