Hooded Crow reappears

Offshore
A quieter day over the sea with observations (0800-0900) producing just 12 Gannet, 12 Guillemot, 10 Little Tern and 2 Manx Shearwater.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 200 Knot, 140 Sanderling, 35 Bar-tailed Godwit and a Whimbrel.
Miscellaneous
Just when it seemed that the long-staying Hooded Crow had finally moved on it put in another appearance.
Moths
Immigrants were limited to a few Silver Y while recently emerged residents included Buff Ermine, Shoulder-striped Wainscot, Grey Dagger, Ghost Moth, Sand Dart, Oblique Carpet, Pale-shouldered Brocade and Yellow Shell.
