Grounded Migrants
Early morning thrushes involved 17 Blackbird, 12 Redwing, 3 Song Thrush and single Brambling, Mistle Thrush and Fieldfare.
Diurnal Migration
The morning produced: 100 Jackdaw, 80 Woodpigeon, 10 Lesser Redpoll, 8 Whooper Swan, 2 Brambling and single Siskin and Stock Dove.
Wildfowl and Waders
A Woodcock and 6 Greenshank were logged.
Miscellaneous
Two Cetti’s Warblers included a singing male; several Barn Owl were hunting the island at dawn and 3 Water Rail called. The island’s “woodland” added 36 Redwing, 11 Fieldfare, 2 Brambling and single Goldcrest and Mistle Thrush.
