A scan of the sea revealed 11 Common Scoter, 10 Shag, 2 Gannet and a Red-breasted Merganser.
Grounded Migrants
Early morning thrushes involved 5 Blackbird, 4 Song Thrush and 2 Redwing. Other sightings were limited to 3 Chiffchaff and a Blackcap and the lingering Cetti’s Warbler.
Diurnal Migration
Totals of 155 Starling, 140 Jackdaw, 80 Pink-footed Goose, 11 Skylark, 8 Barnacle Goose, 5 Meadow Pipit, 2 Redpoll and single Tree Sparrow, Brambling and Siskin were logged
Miscellaneous
Water Rail and Peregrine were the best of the rest.
