Grounded Migrants
Early morning thrushes involved 12 Redwing, 5 Blackbird and 3 Song Thrush. The Cetti’s Warbler was joined by two new arrivals and additional sightings involved a single Blackcap.
Diurnal Migration
Totals of 2,000 Jackdaw, 1,660 Pink-footed Goose, 40 Skylark, 18 Linnet, 16 Tree Sparrow, 12 Whooper Swan, 12 Swallow, 10 Meadow Pipit,10 Chaffinch, 9 Barnacle Goose, 4 Brambling, 2 Siskin, 2 Redpoll were logged
Miscellaneous
A Peregrine was the best of the rest, along with the resident Hooded Crow. The island’s “woodland” added 2 Chiffchaff and 2 Jay.

The light trap held Figure of Eight and Feathered Thorn.
