Rarities
A Red Kite drifted slowly east over the observatory at 1230hrs to become just the second island record and the first for almost 40 years.
Offshore
At least 60 Sandwich Tern and 5 Gannet fed offshore early morning.
Grounded Migrants
The Hooded Crow continues to linger.
Moths and Butterflies
The moth trap provided the nationally scarce Sand Dart while both Meadow Brown and Large Skipper are now on the wing.
