Hudsonian Whimbrel continues to attract observers

Rarities
Day 14 and the Hudsonian Whimbrel continues to attract small numbers of observers daily and it again showed well at times on the morning tide. The Spoonbill was still present early morning.
Offshore
Early morning observations (0615-0715) produced 510 Common Scoter, 130 Sandwich Tern, 110 Gannet, 10 Manx Shearwater and 2 Guillemot.
Grounded Migrants
Perhaps more post-breeding dispersal at this time of year but 10 Stonechats were logged in the daily recording area.
Wildfowl and Waders
The first returning Common Sandpiper was logged.
