Rarities
A check of the salt marsh wader roosts over the morning tide produced 3 Whimbrel amongst a group of 20 Curlew. Upon closer inspection one of the Whimbrel showed an all dark rump, dark underwing and bolder head pattern - Hudsonian Whimbrel!! Although proving elusive once the tide dropped the bird was seen briefly again in the evening.
Offshore
A few Gannet, Sandwich Tern and Common Scoter were logged
