Offshore
Early morning observations (0800-0900) were highlighted by a northbound Scaup. Additional sightings included 36 Common Scoter, 8 Gannet and 2 Red-throated Diver.
Grounded Migrants
A solitary Chiffchaff provided the only evidence of grounded birds.
Diurnal Migration
A few birds remain on the move with 50 Pink-footed Geese, 40 Meadow Pipit, 20 Greenfinch, 12 Skylark and 4 alba Wagtail logged.
Wildfowl and Waders
The Brent Goose flock contained 39 pale-bellied birds and 8 dark-bellied individuals, however, no colour-ringed or juvenile birds were noted.
Miscellaneous
At least 2 Merlin continue to hunt over the island.
