Hooded Crow

11th October 2009 - early showers then sunny spells WNW4/5
Early morning observations (0815-0915) produced 110 Razorbill, 75 Common Scoter, 18 Gannet, 12 Kittiwake and 2 Red-throated Diver.
Grounded Migrants
Limited to a single Wheatear.
Wildfowl and Waders
The Brent Goose flock contained 27 pale-bellied birds, all adults, suggesting a poor breeding season.
A Hooded Crow was perhaps the same itinerant individual seen earlier in the autumn. At least 8 Little Egret continue to linger and a Peregrine was logged.
