A quiet morning over the sea (0700-0800) with just 120 Sandwich Tern, 94 Common Scoter, 40 Gannet, 15 Manx Shearwater, 14 Guillemot and 2 Puffin logged.
Wildfowl and Waders
A moulting drake Pintail was a surprise.
Dragonflies
The first Emperor Dragonfly are now on the wing.
Butterflies and Moths
The light trap attracted 328 moths of 58 species with Cinnabar and Large Yellow Underwing the dominant species and Middle-barred Minor, Broom Moth, Poplar Grey Garden Pebble and Elephant Hawkmoth new for the year.
