Offshore
An early morning check of the sea (0530-0730) produced 470 Common Scoter, 367 Sandwich Tern, 132 Guillemot, 115 Manx Shearwater, 60 Gannet, 25 Puffin, 21 Razorbill, 5 Kittiwake, 2 Red-throated Diver and a Fulmar.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 2 Whimbrel.
Butterflies and Moths
Burnet Companion, Dingy Skipper and Small Skipper were all active in the sunshine with the latter the first of the year.
