18th May 2019 – overcast then sunny/calm
Offshore
Very quiet over the sea early morning (0615-0715) with just 110 Sandwich Tern, 12 Gannet and a Red-throated Diver.
Grounded Migrants
Two Wheatear were the only migrant passerines logged.
Diurnal Migration
Three Swift and a Lesser Redpoll were amongst a continued trickle of Swallow.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 500 Sanderling and 12 Whimbrel.
Miscellaneous
The Hooded Crow put in another appearance.
