Grounded Migrants
Autumn passage has so far only been notable for the lack of Goldcrests, cloudy skies prevailed today but birds were still thin on the ground with just 7 Robin, 2 Chiffchaff, 2 Wheatear, 2 Song Thrush and a Whitethroat.
Diurnal Migration
Quieter than of late with 200 Meadow Pipit, 6 Grey Wagtail, 4 alba Wagtail and single Yellow Wagtail logged.
Wildfowl and Waders
The first two juvenile Curlew Sandpiper of the autumn appeared.
Miscellaneous
At least 2 Little Egret continue to roam along the eastern shore and the Kingfisher put in another appearance.
