19th August 2019 – sunny spells and showers WSW4/5
Offshore
Observations over the sea (0700-0800) provided 57 Common Scoter, 15 Gannet, 4 Kittiwake and single Arctic Skua, Arctic Tern and Fulmar. At high tide 8 Little Tern fed along the eastern shore.
Grounded Migrants
Just 5 Willow Warbler, 2 Whitethroat, 2 Yellow Wagtail and a Wheatear were logged.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 900 Knot and 17 Greenshank.
Miscellaneous
A total of 33 Little Egret were seen and raptors included a Peregrine.
