Offshore
Early morning observations over the sea (0615-0715) produced 94 Common Scoter, 22 Sandwich Tern, 14 Manx Shearwater, 10 Gannet and a Little Tern.
Grounded Migrants
Grounded birds involved 11 Willow Warbler, 6 Sedge Warbler, 4 Yellow Wagtail and single Garden Warbler and Whitethroat.
Diurnal Migration
The skies provided 2 Yellow Wagtail and a Tree Sparrow.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 2250 Curlew, 6 Whimbrel, 4 Greenshank, 2 Common Sandpiper and a Green Sandpiper.
Butterflies and Moths
Painted Ladies remained abundant and the moth trap held Willow Beauty and Square Spot Rustic - both new for the year.
