Latest ever Marsh Harrier

Offshore
A quick scan of the sea revealed 71 Common Scoter, 15 Shag, 6 Razorbill, 4 Red-breasted Merganser and 2 Red-throated Diver.
Grounded Migrants
Early morning thrushes involved 4 Fieldfare and a Mistle Thrush. The only additional evidence of grounded birds was provided by a single Goldcrest.
Diurnal Migration
A few birds continue to move through with 80 Pink-footed Goose, 14 Siskin and a Lesser Redpoll logged.
Wildfowl and Waders
The 3 female Scaup remain and waders included 4000 Knot and 7 Greenshank.
Miscellaneous
The long-staying Hooded Crow put in another appearance as it mobbed a late juvenile Marsh Harrier hunting over the island. Also seen were 35 Twite and single Barn Owl, Little Owl and Merlin.
