Mediterranean Gull and Arctic Terns

Offshore
Interrupted observations over the sea (0630-0830) produced 377 Common Scoter, 141 Razorbill, 108 Sandwich Tern, 40 Gannet, 39 Arctic Tern, 18 Red-throated Diver, 12 Manx Shearwater, 8 Guillemot and a Mediterranean Gull.
Grounded Migrants
Just 7 Wheatear and 3 Willow Warbler were considered newly arrived.
Diurnal Migration
Limited to 3 Swallow and 2 Siskin.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included a single Whimbrel.
Breeding Birds
Song Thrushes are already feeding young.
Butterflies and Moths
Peacock and Speckled Wood are now on the wing.
