Sandwich Terns move in

Offshore
Observations over the sea (0715-0815) produced 260 Sandwich Tern, 30 Common Scoter, 23 Razorbill, 16 Manx Shearwater, 10 Red-throated Diver, 9 Red-breasted Merganser and 7 Gannet.
Grounded Migrants
Single Chiffchaff, Blackcap, Goldcrest and Wheatear were all that could be mustered.
Diurnal Migration
Single Sand Martin, Siskin and Lesser Redpoll moved through.
Wildfowl and Waders
The Brent Goose flock held 170 pale-bellied birds and waders included 6000 Knot, 3 Greenshank and 2 Black-tailed Godwit.
Miscellaneous
The long-staying Hooded Crow put in another appearance while 2 Water Rail and a Merlin were the best of the rest.
