Offshore
An early morning check of the sea revealed 20 Sandwich Tern and 8 Shag.
Grounded Migrants
Conditions were not conducive to provide grounded birds and consequently sightings were limited to 4 Wheatear and a Chiffchaff.
Diurnal Migration
Sightings included 40 Pink-footed Goose, 40 Meadow Pipit, 2 Siskin and a Rook.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 3 Greenshank and a Shoveler was the pick of the wildfowl.
Miscellaneous
A flock of 60 Twite were logged.
