Offshore
Observations over the sea (0715-0815) produced 188 Common Scoter, 140 Razorbill, 117 Sandwich Tern, 22 Gannet, 10 Red-throated Diver, 10 Guillemot and single Arctic Skua and Puffin.
Grounded Migrants
The first Redstart and Sedge Warbler arrived.
Diurnal Migration
A few more Swallow and Sand Martin trickled through along with 4 Rook and a Siskin.
Wildfowl and Waders
Two Greenshank remain.
Breeding Birds
At least 2 pairs of Jay are present on the island and 44 Willow Warbler, 6 Chiffchaff and 3 Blackcap were recorded in breeding habitat.
Miscellaneous
The Hooded Crow put in another appearance.
