29th May 2021 – overcast/mist/murk/calm
Offshore
Excepting 500 Common Scoter and 247 Sandwich Tern early morning observations (0630-0730) were quiet with just 4 Gannet and single Arctic Skua – dark morph, Arctic Tern and Kittiwake logged.
Grounded Migrants
Two Chiffchaff were newly arrived.
Diurnal Migration
A few Lesser Redpoll and Swallow continue to move through.
Wildfowl and Waders
The female Long-tailed Duck continues in residence.
Mammals
At least 3 Harbour Porpoise were again offshore.
Butterflies and Moths
Yellow-barred Brindle and Heart and Dart were new for the year.
