Another quiet day over the sea with early morning observations (0630-0800) providing 254 Sandwich Tern, 76 Common Scoter, 60 Gannet, 48 Guillemot, 10 Kittiwake, 3 Puffin, 2 Little Tern and single Arctic Tern and Fulmar.
Grounded Migrants
Reduced to 5 Wheatear.
Diurnal Migration
A total of 200 Pink-footed Geese headed north early morning and additional sightings included 10 Lesser Redpoll and a Barnacle Goose.
Breeding Birds
Lesser Whitethroat and Reed Warbler are now thinly distributed at breeding sites across the island.
