Another day, another Yellow-browed Warbler

Rarities
Third Yellow-browed Warbler of the autumn quickly followed the second when a bird was found in scrub between the bowling green and pumping station in Vickerstown Park.
Grounded Migrants
Noticeably quieter then yesterday with just 25 Redwing, 10 Goldcrest, 4 Chiffchaff and a Blackcap logged.
Diurnal Migration
Less activity was evident in the skies with just 460 Jackdaw, 35 Pink-footed Goose, 10 Tree Sparrow, 4 Grey Wagtail, 3 Brambling, 3 Lesser Redpoll and single Siskin and Mistle Thrush logged – the latter remarkably the first of the year.
Miscellaneous
A Water Rail was the best of the rest.
Butterflies
Red Admiral, Small White, Large White and Speckled Wood remain on the wing.
Mammals
A pod of 7 Bottle-nosed Dolphins were offshore.
