Rarities
The fourth Yellow-browed Warbler of the autumn appeared in the observatory garden as the rain set in.
Grounded Migrants
Other grounded birds were limited to 6 Goldcrest and 2 Chiffchaff.
Diurnal Migration
A Rock Pipit was amongst 60 Meadow Pipit and 2 Grey Wagtail amongst 20 alba Wagtail.
Wildfowl and Waders
Wildfowl included 2710 Wigeon and 32 pale-bellied Brent Goose while 10 Greenshank was also logged.
Miscellaneous
Two Water Rail were the best of the rest.
