Remaining sparse with just 9 Goldcrest, 6 Chiffchaff, 2 Redwing and a Blackcap logged.
Diurnal Migration
Migration continues to be prominent with 1290 Meadow Pipit, 1100 Pink-footed Goose, 270 Jackdaw, 225 Skylark, 115 Linnet, 70 Swallow, 30 alba Wagtail, 20 Tree Sparrow, 2 Siskin, 2 Lesser Redpoll and single Redwing, Grey Wagtail and Brambling logged.
Moths
A Red-green Carpet was new for the year.
Ringing
A Goldfinch retapped 8 years, 11 months and 1 day after ringing would appear to be a new longevity record for the BTO ringing scheme.
