Offshore
Sandwich Terns are beginning to build with a flock of 30 birds feeding offshore.
Grounded Migrants
The merest hint of migration with 6 Wheatear and single Willow Warbler and Chiffchaff logged.
Diurnal Migration
Small numbers of hirundines were evident with 12 Swallow, 2 Sand Martin and a House Martin amongst a trickle of Meadow Pipits
Wildfowl and Waders
The pair of Gadwall continue to linger and waders included 30 Purple Sandpiper, 4 Greenshank and 3 Black-tailed Godwit.
Miscellaneous
Single Merlin and Little Egret and 2 Red-legged Partridge were recorded.
