Offshore
Observations produced just small numbers of Gannet, Red-throated Diver, Guillemot and Razorbill.
Grounded Migrants
Despite the favourable looking conditions which provided 2 Grasshopper Warbler and the first Redstart of the year the supporting cast was limited to 14 Willow Warbler, 8 Wheatear, 4 Blackcap and 4 White Wagtail.
Diurnal Migration
A trickle of Swallow, Sand Martin and Meadow Pipit included 2 Lesser Redpoll.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 5 Black-tailed Godwit and 4 Whimbrel.
Moths
The moth traps held Clouded Drab and Tawny Pinion – the later would appear to be the first record for the island.
