Tree Sparrow provides highlight

Offshore
Early morning observations provided 80 Common Scoter, 9 Sandwich Tern, 8 Red-throated Diver, 7 Gannet, 3 Razorbill, 2 Kittiwake and a Fulmar.
Grounded Migrants
Remaining thin on the ground with just 3 Chiffchaff and single Wheatear, Goldcrest and Willow Warbler recorded.
Diurnal Migration
A total of 10 Sand Martin and unusually a spring Tree Sparrow were logged amongst a trickle of Meadow Pipit.
Wildfowl and Waders
The pair of Gadwall continue to linger.
Miscellaneous
Three Red-legged Partridge and single Merlin and Little Owl were the best of the rest.
