Migrants continue to trickle through......

Offshore
A total of 6 Red-throated Diver and 23 Sandwich Tern along with small numbers of Gannet.
Grounded Migrants
Just small numbers again including 10 Pied Wagtail, 7 Willow Warbler, 6 Wheatear, 3 Goldcrest and single White Wagtail, Blackcap and Chiffchaff.
Diurnal Migration
A flock of 10 Rook moving east and Swallows trickle through.
Wildfowl and Waders
At least 2 Gadwall continue to linger. The lagoons held 600 Redshank over the evening tide and amongst these were 2 Black-tailed Godwit, single Greenshank, Spotted Redshank and most unusually a Purple Sandpiper. In addition, Biggar Bank produced a varied selection of waders including 300 Golden Plover, 150 Turnstone and 24 Purple Sandpiper.
