The first "fall" of the spring

Grounded Migrants
At long last a change in weather conditions bring about the first fall of the spring. The first 2 Willow Warblers of the year appear along with, 320 Meadow Pipit, 12 Wheatear, 15 Fieldfare, 100 Redwing, 6 Chiffchaff and 25 Goldcrest.
Diurnal Migration
A total of 250 Meadow Pipit, 5 alba Wagtail and a Redpoll are logged through the morning.
Wildfowl and Waders
At least four Greenshank remain and a second pair of Gadwall arrive.
Miscellaneous
A single Little Egret still resides on Tummerhill Marsh.
