Diurnal Migration moves to the fore

Offshore
A small movement involved 13 Red-throated Diver, 5 Razorbill and 2 Adult Little Gull. At least 5 Shag remain from the winter influx.
Grounded Migrants
At least 100 Meadow Pipit, 4 Wheatear and more unusually a Great Tit.
Diurnal Passage
A total of 1350 Meadow Pipit flew NE in the morning at a passage rate of up to 515 birds/hour, also logged 3 Collared Dove, 5 Greenfinch, 20 Linnet, 5 alba Wagtail and a single Redpoll.
