Offshore
Observations on the falling tide (1200-1300 & 1330-1430) provided totals of 40 Sandwich Tern, 30 Kittiwake, 25 Gannet, 3 Guillemot, 2 Common Scoter and a dark phase Arctic Skua.
Grounded Migrants
At least one Hooded Crow remains and new arrivals included 15 Wheatear, 2 Spotted Flycatcher, 2 Pied Flycatcher, 2 Willow Warbler and single Whinchat and Reed Warbler.
Diurnal Migration
Limited to a few Swallow moving through.
Wildfowl and Waders
A total of 22 Whimbrel and 2 Bar-tailed Godwit were logged.
Moths
New additions for the year included White Ermine, Marbled Minor, Bright-line Brown-eye, Clouded-bordered Brindle, Flame Shoulder and Lime-speck Pug.
