2nd June 2020 – bright and sunny SE1
Please note that South Walney Nature Reserve is still unfortunately closed to vehicles until further notice.
A check of the sea revealed 42 Arctic Tern and 4 Little Tern.
A single Chiffchaff was logged.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 6220 Knot, 205 Sanderling, 30 Grey Plover and the lingering Little Stint.
The family group of Raven and the long-staying Hooded Crow were seen.
The first Painted Lady of the year was logged .
