Rosy Starling continues to linger

Rarities
The Rose-coloured Starling was again present today feeding with a c60 Starling in the dunes between the lighthouse and ruined gun emplacement at South Walney Nature Reserve.
Offshore
A check of the sea (0700-0800) revealed 42 Sandwich Tern, 21 Gannet, 7 Common Scoter, 4 Guillemot and 4 Manx Shearwater.
Wildfowl and Waders
The summering drake Wigeon remains in residence.
