Offshore
A check of the sea revealed 5 Little Tern.
Grounded Migrants
A Cuckoo was logged.
Diurnal Migration
A Turtle Dove flew through.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 8000 Knot and the drake Wigeon looks set to summer.
Breeding Birds
The lack of visitors to South Walney Nature Reserve has certainly benefitted the breeding waders with improved productivity noted amongst the Oystercatcher and Ringed Plover population.
