Roof-top nesting Great Black-backed Gulls

Offshore
A check of the sea (0730-0830) provided 47 Common Scoter, 23 Gannet, 16 Sandwch Tern, 12 Guillemot, 3 Fulmar, 3 Manx Shearwater, 2 Kittiwake and an Arctic Skua.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 270 Sanderling and the drake Wigeon continues in residence.
Breeding Birds
The roof-top nesting pair of Great Black-backed Gulls located last year were again in residence on the centre of the island.
