Rarities
The Rose-coloured Starling was again present feeding with a c100 of Starling in the dunes between the lighthouse and ruined gun emplacement at South Walney Nature Reserve.
Offshore
Observations over the sea (0615-0645) revealed just 57 Common Scoter, 17 Sandwich Tern and 14 Gannet.
Grounded Migrants
A Spotted Flycatcher was logged.
Diurnal Migration
A total of 17 Swift flew through.
Wildfowl and Waders
Wildfowl included the male Wigeon and 2 Teal.
Miscellaneous
The Hooded Crow put in another appearance and a Peregrine was the best of the rest.
