Offshore
Early morning observations over the sea (0630-0730) produced 455 Common Scoter, 167 Manx Shearwater, 14 Gannet, 10 Sandwich Tern and 2 Red-breasted Merganser.
Grounded Migrants
The Treecreeper remains and warblers on the move involved 5 Willow Warbler, 4 Whitethroat and single Lesser Whitethroat and Blackcap.
Diurnal Migration
Two Swift flew through.
Wildfowl and waders
Waders included 6 Sanderling, 2 Black-tailed Godwit and a Greenshank.
Butterflies and Moths
The first Gatekeeper ae now on the wing and the moth trap attracted 42 species with Small Fan-footed Wave and Small Rivulet.
