Offshore
Early morning observations (0645-0845) yielded 270 Sandwich Tern, 235 Gannet, 14 Manx Shearwater, 10 Common Scoter, 10 Guillemot, 7 Fulmar, 3 Arctic Skua, 3 Little Tern and an Arctic Tern.
Grounded Migrants
A Spotted Flycatcher was logged.
Diurnal Migration
Three Swift flew through.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 7 Black-tailed Godwit and a Whimbrel.
Butterflies and Moths
Overnight rain and wind severely reduced moth attraction although Pale Mottled Willow was new for the year.
