Offshore
An early morning scan over the sea produced 70 Sandwich Tern, 14 Shag, 10 Common Scoter, 4 Gannet and 3 Common Tern.
Grounded Migrants
A reasonable selection though the morning included 32 Wheatear, 18 Robin, 16 Whitethroat, 7 Willow Warbler, 3 Stonechat, 2 Goldcrest and single Redstart, Sedge Warbler and Chiffchaff.
Diurnal Migration
Totals of 66 Tree Sparrow, 30 Swallow, 19 Grey Wagtail, 17 Meadow Pipit, 12 Pied Wagtail and 11 Tree Pipit flew through.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 185 Ringed Plover, 12 Greenshank, 3 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Curlew Sandpiper and a Common Sandpiper.
Miscellaneous
Two Marsh Harrier remain and the long-staying Hooded Crow and a Peregrine were the best of the rest.
