Early morning observations over the sea (0700-0800) produced 1000 Sandwich Tern, 475 Common Scoter, 12 Shag, 7 Gannet, 2 Common Tern and single Arctic Tern and Manx Shearwater.
Grounded Migrants
Limited to 2 Willow Warbler and a Treecreeper.
Wildfowl and Waders
Sightings included single Whimbrel and Black-tailed Godwit.
Miscellaneous
The Hooded Crow continues its residency and the juvenile Marsh Harrier was joined by the long-staying female.
Insects
A Speckled Bush Cricket photographed on 5th August would appear to be the first island record .
